Carp Fishing 101

syn city looks to be the local expert on carp. I used to put a egg slip sinker on my line above a swivel. then about 2 feet down from the swivel i would tie on just a big plain eagle claw bait hook and completely cover it with corn kernels. seamed like the slip sinker helped keep them from feeling resistance and not drop it. I never really did any chumming but i heard alot of people throw out cans of creamed corn. others just tossed extra corn kernels. I also heard carp like strawberry flavoring too. I kinda miss catching those big smelly guys, they fight like crazy.
