Mohawk was a trademark used by Horrocks-Ibbotson on lots of their fishing tackle. Your rod is probably from the 1950s or 60s. H-I was one of the largest manufacturers of inexpensive fishing tackle from the early 1900s until they went out of business, probably in the 1970s.
You can find a reel for the rod on eBay. H-I made lots of inexpensive reels that are not very collectible today, which keeps the cost down. You might even find a Mohawk reel to match with the rod.
I've been collecting antique fishing tackle for around 40 years. If you want I can take a look around my shop and can probably find you a free reel to match up with your rod.
