Different body of water but same story.
My father and I fished Deer Creek for 3-4 summers in a row, frequently... and the one day out of the blue a ranger approached us (we're on our boat) and he tells us we cannot have our dog on board with us. Against the rules.
What a crock of !!$@$%. We never came back. If they are going to be that uptight about something as silly as having a dog on your boat, well then they don't need any of my $ in park/launch fees.
Dogs on people's boats do not decrease the quality of the water. There are dead animals, animal fecal matter, all sorts of nasty stuff in the lake that gets filtered out. Taking it out on the dogs is just absurd.
