Well for the conclusion to this story. Through some help and investigative work I found a number for Mike not his real name I found out per my phone call to the Yacht Club. The guy at the Yacht Club heard the story yesterday from Mike and told me THANK YOU. He said Mike wished he would've got our names and indicated to me how apprecative he was that we were there to help Mike he then gave me Mikes phone number as we were very concerned about him all day yesterday.
Here's what Mike stated to me. Dennis was a jerk to us and overbearing. Mike stated he was so glad I didn't leave...had we have left like I told him my little voice indicated...he said I'M VERY GLAD YOU DIDN'T LEAVE as I probably wouldn't have been here to talk with you on the phone. He said what they did to us was unacceptable and disrespectful to us but Dennis had it in his mind to land on the little bit of island exposed even though Mike knew we were there fishing cause they saw us. Mike again stated to me THANK YOU for a lesson in civility what a lesson learned he said. Mike also stated to me they were stupid for barging in where we were fishing, Stupid for not tieing off the boat off and doubly stupid for not having life jackets. Mike did say the life jackets were in a duffle bag in the boat thats why we didn't see them.
I'm just glad Mike is doing well today...indicated he was very tired yesterday and rested.
So those of you who believe I esculated this event maybe take an inward look at yourselves and you just don't know what the future or destiny hold...what would you all have done...I'm betting most if not all of you would've left like I was going to do...but for some unknown reason I didn't and was glad I stayed.
