Made it back up today and the ice was around 5" everywhere I fished. I talked to a guy who fished Goose Bay and he said it was 5" over there too. It was a little bit thinner by county, the further you got out from shore. There was a random patch of open water near the northwest corner access site (not sure what that place is called) so be careful if you choose to fish there. It wasn't very far off the shore line. As far as the fishing, we caught fish consistently up until 11:30. Then it really slowed down. Most fish were caught jigging and there didn't seem to be one thing in particular that they wanted the most, it changed throughout the day.
