Just because lakes are the same elevations means nothing. Depth of lake has alot to do with it. Deer creek and yuba are really close in the same elevation but yuba will warm faster then deer creek every year.

I guess the rainbows floating on the surface a few years back just up and kicked the buckett? They looked healthy, they were not skinny and died from starvation. So when the biologist told me they died from the water being to warm, it just makes sense, so I dont need to question someones answer, when he gets paid to study the fish.
