Darkcloud -- OK. We give. It was the temperatures that prevented a sustainable trout fishery at Yuba. Managers obviously figured it out quickly, and stopped the trout program at Yuba. Whatever you want to believe -- it doesn't matter, because it isn't currently a trout fishery.
The issues still remain:
1. Water -- without water, you can't manage fish. Period.
2. Fish -- without a way to control populations of fish (carp, perch, walleye, pike), you have no way to manage a fishery. You MUST be able to control population numbers.
3. Predator vs. prey -- you cannot have a lake full of predators and no prey. Adding more predators to a system already void of prey isn't going to solve the issue. It compounds the issue.
4. Water. without water, you cannot manage fish.
(It's important enough to say again!)
