Deer Creek (and most other lakes) is not a big aquarium full of fish that are always ready to bite. The fish are often bunched up in one small area or another in search of food, oxygen, warmer/colder temps or whatever. And that can change from day to day...or even during the same day.
DD1us knows Deer Creek very well but still has to look for the fish on most trips. He DOES use some techniques that few other people know about...or could duplicate. So just knowing where to fish is not always the answer either.
Bad form to slam someone for politely asking for information that someone else might not want to post on an open forum.
