Great idea redneck deluxe. I have a small wood sled that sets up as a wind shelter I made 30 years ago. Also I have attached pictures of an aluminum sled I built to haul a Frabill hideout and all my gear. We pulled this sled for years with no problems just had to wax the skis with cold temp wax using an iron. Recently we added a removable hitch the Warrior Princess welded together for our Eskimo caravan.we bought a 949 tent and pulled this behind our sled at Pineview and Starvation upwards of 30 miles an hour. She followed me and said as long as I cut my own track it was smooth. The angle irons have holes drilled for wheels however I have only had it on wheels once. Use a long powder ski with wide shovel counter sink your bolts so they do not drag.
