pyrimid in april

im coming out to pyrimid lake in mid april for the first time. I will be bringing my son who has been dreaming about this trip, im just wondering what kind of bugs and if I should rig us up sinking, or floating line. and maybe a beach to fish, I know this is alot of info to ask for but i have no knoledge of the area and id like to see my son catch a decent cutty. pm me if you would like thanks
