Current Creek campground
#6
Its a mix of both primitive & reserved campsites the primitive campsites (no reservation ) start along Current Creek Rd, as soon as you turn off of Hwy40 from the gas station maybe quarter mile down the dirt road (current creek rd) you'll start to see camping spots on your left hand side. Its pretty cool most of the spots there parallel the river.

There's camp spots up until your hit the Big Horn ranch. From there the road is paved and I don't recall any campspots until the road turns into a dirt again then youll hit the dam.

After the dam and maybe a few miles the road will fork into a 3 road path if you take the immediate left you start heading toward the spillway great fishing there and easy place to launch a toon. Theres an open space there ive seen people camp there but not sure if its an actual camp spot. If you take the middle youll start heading up toward the the boat ramp that's were the reserved camp spots are.

And if you take the right youll start heading toward Strawberry Ladders more primitive camp spots there no reservation needed.

Theres also a road from the ladders that will shave about 20 minutes off your drive but I don't recommend if your towing a 5th wheel or a boat kinda narrow in some spots but Ive also seen big RV make it through there so... I cant remember what ext it is ill see if I cant find a pic
