Current Creek campground
#10
Currant Creek has some of the nicest developed campgrounds I've been to in Utah.

AND, it's one of the few places that doesn't take a lot of convincing of the wife to go to, because they have flush toilets and running water in the restrooms. Plus there are water spigots close to every camp area.

The campgrounds are a little pricier than others I've been to though. I don't remember the exact price, but it seems like it was just under $20 a day.

I prefer to camp a little further away from the water, just to get away from the crowds. The lower loops always seem to fill up first. And I always see a few scout troops up there - I try and give them a wide berth just because of the noise.

I went up there in July of last summer - the online reservation system showed that there weren't many spots available. I decided to try my luck anyway and when I got up there, there were TONS of spots available. I pretty much had the entire upper loop to myself.

Man, this makes me want to take a trip up there. Aren't many places prettier during the fall.
