Oh I'm sorry to hear. People with mild cases of autism have it off the worst. They're pretty much expected to pull their own weight/ take on the responsibilities of a "normal" person. Most people get annoyed/impatient/frustrated with these type of people although they have no idea what it'd be like to be in their shoes. Fortunately, other than the writer of that letter, most people I know are much more sympathetic towards people that its easy to tell if they have autism.
Like I said before, my sisters husband has a kid from a previous marriage with autism(I'm guessing pretty bad). We took him out boating on the tube last weekend and he had a blast.
