A boat will definitely help, but remember, you put a motor on it you have to license it. I know one person got a ticket for not.
Also remember there is a full moon.
I fished it the 6th through 11th. Some days 25 - 30 then a couple days close to 100. It is always changing . That's why it's called fishing......
