Thanks! I'm pretty sure that one will be a fish of a lifetime for me. It was pretty exciting.
I should have gone after some smallies today, but since I've been fighting a sinus infection all week, I opted for a closer largemouth spot for a quicker trip. I thought that with the week of warm, stable, weather that we've had, the fish would be more active, but it was tough. I fished four hours and though I missed or lost a fair amount of fish, I only managed to land three bass, three perch, and a trout. Oh well, at least the perch were a nice surprise. I hadn't caught any out of there all year, I was beginning to think they'd become extinct in that reservoir. [inline "perch 2 small.jpg"]

They were all around 13" and caught from the same school. Either the breeze blew me off of them, or they moved on, but I'm glad I caught a few anyway. I think I'm resigning myself to fishing streams for trout the rest of the year. See you in six months bass [:/]
