That dark area under the bridge is mostly shadows. There is a little bit of water spilling out from around the supports. The ice in the whole area near the bridge is at least 7" and very hard and clear. The surface is very slick anywhere there isn't some frost or snow. There is a pressure ridge about 50 yards north of the bridge but the ice near the ridge looked solid. Anyone on a snowmobile or ATV would probably have to work a little to get over the piled up ice. It looked like it was about 18 inches high but I didn't see any open water at the crack.
