Fishing the Boulders
#3
Folks are pretty tight-lipped about the Boulders. Many lakes can be accessed using 4WD or ATVs, but if you are willing to backpack, you can find complete solitude. The plateau is very high at 11,000 feet, but many of its lakes are shallow, so you may want to stay below the rim.

Use Google Earth to check out lakes and trails with fishing potential and then research the internet. You might be able to discover some secrets. EveryTrail and Backpacker have some GPS tracks for the Boulders that provide a lot of information.

My two cents is that if a lake is deep enough to hold fish and not too accessible by motored vehicles, you almost can't go wrong.
