Word of warning about rentals (OT)
#2
[cool]I have no love lost for Enterprise. Knowing I was covered by my insurance, I declined the extra policy when I needed a car while on business in Florida. I got dinged by another guy, and he was cited for failure to yield. We exchanged insurance info, and I thought that was the end of it.

Next thing I knew, Enterprise was suing me for $3600 in repairs (very overinflated for the damage caused) because the other guy's insurance company wouldn't pay until they had an accounting.

When I contested it with Enterprise, they said "It might not be right, but it is the law. You signed a waiver and you are responsible. Pay it and let YOUR insurance company go after the other guys."

In other words, they were too lazy to do what they had to do so they simply sued me. Guess what? I didn't ever pay it and it is just now coming off my credit report.

I heartily recommend Enterprise as a fine company with which to NOT do business.

Hey, Diamond, hope you are able to get a resolution on the money. I am sure you would rather spend that money on something worthwhile, like fishing.
