Farleys canyon

I have not been to farleys before , and my wife does not want to camp at any of the marinas, We will be needing a drive in camp area, But I would like to be where I can get some fishing done. I am also wondering what the water clarity will be there in early may. I have fished the area in the past (the 80's) But we fished from the old hite and went up stream back then.
