Henry's Lake trolling flies

So I have recently learned how to troll files on Henry's but I would like to learn to do it with a fly rod. All the old timers do it and wondering if anyone can tell me how to set it up. Rod weight, length and type of line setup etc. It may sound odd but it makes the fight way better. At least that's what I hear. I assume it would be the same on any lake. Thanks
