First Fish Cat float tube

TD:
The corrugation popping has been put to good use in my ODCs because of the "bubble" it provides. The bottom seat popped bladder will also fit the back seat pocket in such a way that it provides lower lumbar support for my lower back. So I use 2 of the popped bladders, one for the bottom and one for the back. By controlling the pressure, I can get more lift from the seat pocket bladder and still sit on a firm flat (or even slight concave) surface above the water line, without having to inflate a normal "unpopped" bladder to full and tight pressure. The 2 popped bladders give much more comfort and support than those that are unpopped, wish they had been available that way originally!

It is also possible to stuff 3 foam type bladders into the bottom seat pocket of the ODC, so that there is enough lift to sit above the water line. The foam does not conform as much as the inflatable though, so they are not as comfortable.

[quote TubeDude][#0000ff]The seats in the H3 were inflatables...but the corrugation (side to side) kept popping and the seat became a big balloon. (see pic)

I tried putting a formed piece of the foam board on top to create some rigidity...and also an extra piece in front to add a "speed bump" to keep me from sliding out the front. It worked to some extent but I still had to use one of my seat inserts (chairs) on every trip for comfort and remaining inside the tube.
