The ODC seat bladders popped to round after about a year or 100 cycles, but did not leak at all because of it. After about another year or 100 cycles on the same bubble bladders, a pinhole leak formed at the outside seam where the strap pressure/friction position was. Patches don't usually hold at the seam areas, so I repaired with aquaseal forced into the hole with a toothpick. When the aquaseal sets, it forms a mechanical plug inside and connected to the outside as well as an adhesive seal. This strengthens the sealed area, so I have never had to patch the same hole again due to adhesion failure.
If you look at TDs bubble bladder, you can see that it is tapered on one end instead of being perfectly round. On the ODC you can turn the bladder so that the tapered part helps keep you in your bottom seat and also provides lumbar support for the seat back pocket... Thats why I like the bubble bladders.
The newer ODC seat bladders don't seem to bubble after about the same period of time, as I have not had another set do that despite trying to make it happen. Don't know how this compares to H3 or outcast.
How do the odc and outcast seat air bladders hold up? They of the same design as the H3, although probably different vendors make them.
What about my kick fins, any comments as to there performance? I used them with a belly boat, and a "u" tube. Not much to report, did the job. The "v" boat is so much larger. Does that translate to harder or easier kicking in the wind?
