First Fish Cat float tube
#69
Thanks, your reply does help. The more I think about adding pvc side brackets for added fishing rods, and other accessories. I am thinking I am not ready for that, just yet. Nice to know others use paddles, in addition to the kick fins. I do recall the fins doing a good job of holding the tube in place for fishing, as well as good for maneuverability. Plus, I did not waste my time or energy when per-planning for the break down, kayak paddle purchase. Sound like Pontoon man, and flygoddess now several tubers that use paddles as a fishing or navigational aid. Good to know I will not be the only one on the water with paddle in hand.

Before buying the fish cat. I purchased a rod holder for a float tube. There is not much room in front of the storage pockets of the fish cat, for the installing of the caddis (?) fly rod holder. Do any of you use one successfully, on a fish cat?
