Just a stab here, but the fact there are two (2) cushions and as you have referred to "Taco Effect" I am going with a very important response. The Outcast video and I am pretty sure any of the other companys were they to do a you tube would share the fact that it need be a snug/tight fit. Not able to slide around.
This post has really opened my eyes I gotta tell ya. Pictures of your problem could have helped ......maybe.
I would have never imagined a post on a seat commanding 78 (79 with mine) questions/answers/ suggestions/comments.
