I cut that eel up, put the pieces on a couple of 8/0 circle hooks, tied them to 30 pound braid and cast out into the pool. Then I cut the line and tied it off to a big branch. When I went back the next day the line was pulled tight. I started pulling it in and felt some deep thumps and vibrations and a heavy weight, then the line went slack and I pulled it in. Whatever it was had cut through the braid. but awesome.
