in 2004 the big count days came in april giving big intial run numbers, then dropping into the 3000 and less thru May. If we could get a few more big days I think we could have a 2004 year pretty easy.
Im hoping the big 500+ jack count yesterday was a function of the giant count rather than an big increase in jacks which often indicates a point where adult numbers start to decline
Just basing the run so far on rough data i.e. pitt tagging rates in 2012 vs 2 salt (3yr olds) returns this year, I think we are looking darn good for the Little Salmon so far.
Clearwater is decent, lots of unclipped selway fish coming though.
Doesnt look like we will see many big fish this year, only a couple 3 salt or older fish in the tag returns so far.
