Don't know if you were thinking of trying the Wyoming side, but we used to hit a little back road by Anvil draw and would fish off a point there where the water dropped off fairly deep close to shore. We were fishing velveta off the bottom and nailed the rainbow and many were 18-20" fish... It's been a while since I usually fish from a boat when I hit the Gorge lately, but it sure used to be a great spot for nice fish... Good luck... J
