South Fork Ogden River
#2
Spinfishing- try a med sized panther martin , bluefox, or floating rapala. Fish in the deeper holes, around log jams, and big boulders. Make sure the blade on your spinner spins.

Baitfishing- Half a nightcrawler on a size 6 baitholder hook with a small splitshot. You want your bait to drift along the bottom of the river. You should feel the bottom and hang up here and there but just pop the bait free and feel for bites. Fish it with some slack in the line to help the bait get to the bottom. Cast upstream or across upstream. when your bait stops drifting your either have a fish biting or a hang up. Fish the same areas as mentioned above.

These are just general techniques that work on rivers and streams. I've never fished the south fork, but I'll bet these techniques will work.

Good luck!
