Wels Catfish, yep they do get big. Don't know about Italy, but since it was reported in the Daily News in the UK, maybe the Italians do same as the Brits. The Brits consider Carp a Competition fish similar to Bass or Walleye, or maybe even Catfish here. I have a photo of my teenage grandson holding a quite large Carp a couple years ago. Don't know if it was in a Competition or not, but he had a
