Ok I thought I was done changing things around. Now I am thinking of adding a pedestal base to the casting deck which is made out of all fiberglass. I am thinking of adding a 3/4" piece of plywood under the deck (glued with liquid nails) then bolt the pedestal through the deck and plywood. Would this be sufficient strength?
