Ogden River & a quick stop at Pineview 7/30/15

I've hooked tiger muskie at two places at Pineview, and both are near free access points. One is on the east side, just around the bend north of Huntsville. If the water is up and the bay is full, wade out and fish the weedy areas. If the water is so low that the bay at Spring Creek is down to the sand, drive all the way around to the west side, where you can park at the Forest Service trailhead just south of the marina. The small bay is Rattlesnake Creek and musky cruise the edges there quite often.

I've had them hit both minnow swim baits and spinnerbaits. Do use a wire leader! Both of the ones I had on bit through my mono. Buh-BYE!
