I have had incredible amounts of success fishing kokes through the ice. In fact that is my most targeted fish. (Tasty little buggers) so throughout the years if ive picked up any advise to give on kokes its being at the right place at the right time particularly at small bodies of water like causey and porcupine. It takes time and a good fishfinder. Best i can figure is they run different parts of the day in different depths. Once i can pick up a pattern im usually successful. Causey for example a few years ago i had the time and place narrowed down pretty well and was only able to fish one rod because it was extremely fast. However the bite was only 30-45 mins long and it would flat out stop. Couldn't even hook a straggler. So my best advise is stay consistent in going to your location check different depths different times of day.
