If you go it may also be your last walk on a Utah hard deck. As warm as it has been I would be concerned about the quality of the ice at Bountiful Lake. If it does have safe ice, be aware that it is really shallow out a long ways along the bank where the canal enters the lake. Out towards the island you will find deeper water and likely catch is small planter rainbow trout and possible catch is large mouth bass, carp and just about every other fish that will survive in that lake (the bucket biologists have been busy over the years).
