The best suggestion I can give is go BIG for the lake trout. If you think your lure is BIG, go bigger until you think there is no way the fish can get it in his mouth...He can and will. I found white or glow flatfish or really big swimbaits kokanee colored.

In the early morning they hit at all depths and deeper later in the morning. Go get 'em !!!
