I don't fish the places around Boise very much. Most of the fishing that I do takes place in Eastern Idaho. There are a number of posters in your area that I'm sure could help you out.

For catfish you might want to try Brownlee Reservoir and Bruneau River area of CJ Strike. There are some other guys that should be able to give you some better details.
