Lake Erie Report 6/19
#1
..Attleast Deer Creek felt like Erie with all those surf boats - some days I really miss fishing the great lakes. Tried using the chop as leverage with the wife that I need a bigger boat. Well see.

Oh well - fished the flats about 5 - 10pm. Lost my trolling motor prop in the chop driving over (yes, seriously) so I couldn't lindy rig like I planned.

Water temp was about 65, trolled silver and gold cranks at about 2.25, picked up a slew of eyes, and a fat bonus rainbow. I run 200' back, yes 200' back on my cranks when I'm running my main motor.

Picked up a few more eyes with a 3" swimbait on the cast (green, black flake). Great to get out. Good luck, tight lines..

It sounds like you had a great day with the walleye.

You have to explain more what happened with the prop.
