I will answer my own question.  There is a little ice around the shore in many areas, but it is less than 1/2" thick and the reservoir is nearly entirely open water.

Thanks for the info Kent, you thinking about making an ice fishing trip up there when it freezes?

Thanks for the info Kent, you thinking about making an ice fishing trip up there when it freezes? It is a challenging place for me to fish because it is artificial and barbless. There are some trophy rainbows in there.

Yes, I just wish that I wouldn't have made a trip on November 30th.

Thanks for the report.  We fished it and Twin Lakes, on 12/6/22, but they definitely won't have safe ice (perhaps no ice at all) on 12/6/23.

A buddy of mine fished Treasurton last week before the rain and fished the back end on 2" of ice. Thats not enough for this guy. He caught a few and said he lost a really big one at the hole but he caught a few cutties and some big fat rainbows. I'm betting it will be around Christmas before twin lakes has any safe ice.

Any recent reports on Treasureton? I want to head up again but would prefer not to make another long drive only to find dangerous conditions. Thank you.
