Mantua?

Saw people fishing Mantua this morning by the boat ramp.  Can anyone comment on the ice thickness?  How the catching went?

I've heard reports that it was safe in spots and very thin in others. So tread lightly if you go out. And keep a rope and ice picks handy.

Unfortunately the reports I have heard about Mantua is that the only thing left in there are very small perch and bass and that the larger mature fish where decimated by the fish kill this fall, may be a couple years for it to recover.
