[cool][#0000ff]When I got into some cats the week before, the water temp got as high as 47 degrees in protected areas by the end of the day. That 10 degree drop is BIG with fish. They will sometimes turn off with only a two or three degree drop.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]37 degrees is even too cold for walleye spawning. They like it above 43-45.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I guess we just have to wait out Mama Nature. What a mother.[/#0000ff]

[cool]Other than tomorrow (rain/snow predicted) it looks like the rest of the week will have a little warming trend into the weekend. Saturday is looking like 50 degrees and cloudy. I know the water temps probably won't be up to 47 that TubeDude had last week, but hopefully it'll be higher than the 37 of last weekend. Here's the latest forcrash: [url "http://www.ksl.com/?nid=88"]http://www.ksl.com/?nid=88[/url]
I'm gonna give it a shot anyway on Saturday. Sounds like the bubble-up is out with that Lindon Walleye tourney happening, I'm sure it will be a city of boats around the bubble-up. I'm heading to Lincoln I think...

[cool][#0000ff]Lots of 12'-14' water on the "flats". The rock shelves are from 5'- 10' deep. All three of the springs are under a lot of water.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Right now, Utah Lake is about 2' higher than the highest point it reached during runoff last summer.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]Some info I got was that it will not be able to get too much higher. It is almost to the top of the control boards at the pumphouse at the mouth of the Jordan River.[/#0000ff]

[cool]I've got a better idea-how about we turn you upside down and tie you to my tube and use you for my sonar this Saturday? The water is a nice 37-40 degrees right now, so it's not too bad. Whatta ya say, Mike?

Hey you stole that idea from me. Remember how I wanted to use you as my aqua view over the winter. So come up with another one buddy.

Geoff, I have been meaning to ask you- what the *$&@! kind of fish is that in your avatar pic? Talk about ugly! Is that a catfish or something??
I'll be coming down to Utah Lake here in a month or so, and I still owe you some waxies. We'll hook up with my brother and he'll show us how it's done. I swear he's the UL fishing guru.
I'm sure there is still a cap on Mantua can you believe it?
