We lost our grandfather christmas eve 06 @ approx 11:30pm. He was a great man, and immaculate person. he was born in 1914. Served in WWII and was in berlin as captain of the motor pool for the US. he took the first car to Utah and Colorado with his father in the early 1900's before there was a road. He worked with his father in family business that was opened in 1913. He was a charter member out at Hidden valley/Fort douglas country club, and he loved golf as much as I loved learning to golf from him. he was an avid bird killer when he was younger and was known to flip a fly once in a while. he raised the kid that is my father who is just like him in many ways. He is my "grumpy" and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. If any of you find a man like him, please direct him upstairs or to my house for one last drink (jack and soda).
thanks all.
