Causey the last 4 days!
#1
Been fishing Causey the last 4 nights with tremendous success on RMT gear all over the lake. Caught fish as long as 18 1/2". Some of the fish are already almost completely red but still great eating. I took an idea from Dale(DKSR enegade) and use a 3/16" poly rope tied to 8# weights for downriggers and it works great for small boats. The launching is a pain but well worth it. Here are some pics.

Pressure is HEAVY but most people can't catch the kokes from what i have seen. There were 5 small tinners up there last night and my boat was the only one with fish in it.[Wink]

Sounds really fun Brody, I want to try if I can sneak away. Which part of the lake were they in and how deep? Any pointers on what to use. You can pm me if you need to. I will probably be vertical jigging from my pontoon.

Nice work Brody. I've done really well for kokes up there in August. I've got some divers that work well up there!
