Hi Everyone. Fairly new to Idaho (Boise) and just found the site. Love fishing and have a small boat so I'm eager to learn about fishing the area. Look forward to chatting with y'all.

Welcome to the board. Where did you move from? What kind of fishing do you like to do? Fly or Spin? I grew up in Boise (technically in Eagle) and just recently moved over to the opposite side of the state. There is incredible fishing all over Idaho. Great place to live if you love to fish.

Hi Shane. I grew up in cental Washington. Frankly, I just like to fish, regardless of the tackle. I'm more comfortable with the spinning gear, but do break out the flyrod once in a while. Although I like to explore the rivers, I do have a small boat and like to chase bass, walleye, trout, catfish, you name it in the lakes and reservoirs. Any suggestions are welcome!
