I heard Fish is good BRAIN food, but that doesn't mean you have to eat THEIR brains!!!!
Very nice. Love those pictures. I have one of those STAR lenses and I have never used it. That is going to change!

These poor things get beat up on the way up river pretty bad. I think its from the dam turbines. My wife took the picture of me fighting the fish on my d90 with a cheap travel lense (tamron 18-200). Pretty cool though.

Not on the weather, Nice steelhead but you're very heavily dressed for anything approaching the 60's.
And none of Idaho or for that matter the U.S. with steelhead running was in the 60's this weekend. So unless you hit some late straggling steelies in New Zealand you might want a new thermometer.

As long as the weather police are going to jump in, I suggest you do some homework. If you dont, tt looks like dont know how to do your job....

Hey Thom,
You sound spot on with recent weather just this weekend wasn't like that at all. I'm a weather nut on the side. Normally I wouldn't care if someone doesn't know that a thermometer on a car in the sun or directly in the sun might easily read 20 or more degrees higher than the actual air temp this time of year. Just calling him on the challenge because of a way too serious and extremely obnoxious reply on the Idaho about some lighthearted kidding.

HAHAHA. I'm glad someone else noticed that this was all posted last year. I didnt even remember the thread until I got an email saying it had been replied to on my cell.

And yes the lows in the mornings on this trip were mostly in the 30's.

[laugh]LOL. Your crackin me up. Your supposed to defend your icefishing title. After seeing those steelies again it boils my blood too. I want to hit the rivers. There are so many things to choose from in the coming weeks. Tuff choices too.

Would be worst on the board today except the post I eluded to earlier takes that title [/quote]
No offense, but that's debatable. Especially with the follow up post not really taking accountability, but shifting the blame back to a post that took place on a totally different state's forum.
Sometimes it's good to just let a dead dog lie, especially when if you don't it's going to make you look a little silly...
I really don't mean any disrespect, but this was pretty poor form.
