First ice fishing trip of the season
#1
Decided to hit the Mirror Lake Highway yesterday, 11/9.  Most of the shallow lakes have frozen.  We fished Pass Lake.  Ice thickness varied from 5" to 3"  or less.  Fishing was fairly fast for small rainbows and tigers.  Hopefully the cold weather continues minus snow so the road stays open a bit longer.  Sure is beautiful this time of year.

I noticed Facebook was plastered with posts of ice fishing the high country. Did you have crowds to deal with ?
Remember: keep the lid on the worms, share your jerky, and stop by to say hi to Cookie and the Cowboy-Pirate crew
