Hello everyone. I've found this site and have been reading these forums for a few weeks now and have finally up and joined. I've only hit the ice twice this season so far, but here is my report from the weekend.
I had other obligations in the morning, so I was pretty late getting to the lake. I finally got on the ice at about 4:30. Got setup just before dark and started fishing. Fishing was slower than I expected, but it was my first time fishing this lake in the dark, so I didn't really know what to expect. I picked up 3 decent fish in about 1 1/2 hours or so. Then the heater died. [
] I knew I forgot something. At that point it got pretty cold pretty quick, so I packed up and left.
