You ice fishing fool . Do you think a 220# nut could walk on that ice . I could go tomorrow but would be alone most likely . I guess I could get a life jacket on so they could find me .

Yea, Ron! Some set of cajones, man! Looked like a little less than half way out on the road side near the turn off, right? Small white tube jigs? With brassies like that, consider it that you have an open invite from me for Fish Lake in early Feb.
I know that I would leave a nice, brown trail from hole to hole if it was me!

the water was only 8" to 13" where we were fishing..

Ok, Ok. I'm ready to take you up on that offer you made to learn me somethings about ice fishing now. Me and the hounds want some of that action - you bring your boy and I'll bring my boys. That pond looks like I could even bring my old hocky skates and zip around a bit(are you using boots with cleats or something - how are you getting traction on that glass ?). Anyway, I got all my winter ski gear out and I'm ready to go. I even got a bunch of minnows and a bucket with my paltry selection of ice fishing gear ready to go.
But, I gotta say this - Dude, that ice does look a little skinny for you or my hounds still(I could be wrong, but, I think one of them might outweigh you by a little). Nevertheless, in a day or two the ice will probably be thick enough for all of us to hang out on - if the hounds can get their footing and can stand up on it - that is. If not, they can "chill" in the vehicle while your fishing and I'm trying to figure out what you're doing.

Tuesday sounds pretty good to me.
One thing I have to warn you about - my hounds are probably smarter than both of us. It might only take one or two splats on the ice before they figure out it's not what they want to spend the day doing - but you never know what they might think is fun. However, you're right - it will be entertaining to watch them attempt to walk on it - who knows, they may just be able to negotiate the glass - they have 2 inch claws on thier paws that does provide a fair amount of traction.
If it looks do-able - send me a PM and let's work out the finer details and hook up !
