Flycastin and I made another trip to the Ogden river today. We did pretty well landing about ten fish a piece. Flycastin managed to catch a nice little smallmouth bass. The water was really low and clear. We were using rapalas.

Fun times. The water was much lower and clearer than our previous trips. It was awesome watching the smallie and the trout smack the rapala. [cool]

The closer you get to the dam, the more smallies we see/catch. Over the years Hookjaw and I have caught about a dozen or so... Not too big, but still fun. We have SEEN a few that were nice. [cool]

While i was "rehearsing" for my wedding at MTC Learning park, I had to try to catch a fish and i did. While i was catching my fish i saw a 20" tiger sitting by a pallet waiting in ambush. I have also caught some gigantic perch in the deep hole below the first bridge.

I have also caught some perch and we have seen alot of Tigers in the South fork of the Ogden. We saw one Tiger about a mile upstream that probably would have gone over 40 inches. Flycastin also caught a good sized channel cat behind the Oaks restaurant.

Fish were rising all day long. Had we been fishing with the fly rods, I have no doubt we would have caught more yesterday. [cool]

In the Provo, I never see anthing other than brownies and an occasional muskrat. Anyone ever caught a muskrat on a rapala?

Nice pics! Every time I go with my brother, we always end up at one or two streams or rivers as that is his favorite kind of fishing action.

I used to N.ot have E.nough T.ime O.ff to go fishing. Then I retired. Now I have less time than I had before. Sheesh.
