Work takes me to Craig, CO next week and I may try to hit some of the local waters. I have also post this on the UT board (my home state).
Looking mostly for some out-of-the-way fishing, which probably means rivers. I will only be able to fish in the evenings, like after 5:00 pm. I'm most accustomed to targeting trout, although I'm open for other species (pike in the Yampa, etc. ?). The flyfishing colleague isn't going, so I'll be flipping jigs and lures, etc. I also don't mind driving a little, but time constraints and daylight limits post-work travel to 45 mins or so.
Anywho, just wondering if anyone has some suggestions or can at least point me in the right direction--location, tackle, or otherwise. Or, if there's somewhere you could point me for info (website, fly shop in town, etc.) that would be great. My research thus far has proven...unproductive.
Thanks,
