Scrounger Leadhead Lures
#1
Do any of you angler's out there know where I can purchase Scrounger lures? I used to use them to catch halibut and bass in SoCal but can't find them anywhere. The Scrounger is a lead head type lure. Regards!

What type of jig hooks do they use in those ones?

Burnin Thumbs!

Steve B
Moderator Lures/Baits Forum
http://www.demonjigs.com

A plastic tail is used most often. Rootbeer color was most productive in SoCal. The Scrounger had a plastic hood built into the top of the leadhead which caused an oscillating action. Awesome results for bass and halibut.

No worries HB

They sound like a good jig/lure. Did you get onto the link that Jerry left for you above?

I dropped in and had a look myself, and as mentioned, simply wondered if they have a good solid hook in them.

Imagine they do if you using them for SoCal fishing.

Burnin Thumbs!

Steve B
Moderator Lures/Baits Forum
http://www.demonjigs.com
