Yes, they are different in one very important way; they don't have sperm or eggs. Thus, more energy goes into growth, and they don't breed with wild fish. Read the article above. Mike

It has actually been around for about 5 years now and is my go to rapala in south east idaho i bought a couple the very first day that sportsmans ever put them on their shelves and havnt switched back to a brown or regular rainbow pattern since. oh i also throw the hot steel pattern also it is similar to the purple descent. both work fantastic.
